2018 FDF awards celebrate Nestlé

Nestle UK are celebrating after picking up the best education initiative award at Nestlé Academy Campus Team Initiative at the prestigious FDF Awards, a celebration of the UK’s food and drinks manufacturing industry.

The event was held at the Royal Lancaster in London and was hosted by Joe Rayner who is the well known food journalist for the Observer. The awards event attracted 500 guests across the industry, what a night!

Lizzie Hendon, Commercial Apprentice and Campus Team Captain of the Year for the Campus Team Initiative collected the Prize on behalf of team Nestlé and said:

“It’s wonderful to receive this recognition from our industry peers. Our Initiative involves Nestlé’s apprentices and graduates designing, planning and leading engagement activity with schools, colleges, and universities to help inspire the next generation of talent for Nestlé’s business and industry. It’s been a tremendously successful approach, with students responding really enthusiastically after hearing first-hand the experiences of their contemporaries already at Nestlé.”
